Try before you buy

Every installation gets a 60-day full trial, and Home Lite is free forever. There is very little you can buy without trying it first.

Subscriptions (Home, Essential, Professional)

• Full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase if the licence key has never been activated on an appliance.
• Once a licence is activated — or once 14 days have passed — a subscription is non-refundable: it is running on your appliance.
• You can cancel auto-renew anytime, free, from your dashboard — it stops future deductions and your licence runs to its expiry. Without auto-renew there is nothing to cancel: nothing charges automatically, and the licence simply runs to its expiry.
• When a subscription lapses, your firewall falls back to the free Home Lite tier — DNS blocking and the block page keep protecting your network, with visible reminders. Nothing silently stops, and nothing auto-renews.

Device add-on packs

• A pack is applied to your licence the moment payment completes, so applied packs are non-refundable.
• Bought a pack on the wrong account or licence by mistake? Contact support within 48 hours — if the extra devices haven’t been consumed, we will move or refund it.

Perpetual licences

Same rule: full refund within 14 days if never activated. A perpetual licence keeps working after its 12-month update window; renewing updates later is optional and never forced.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from your account email with your invoice reference (it starts with NF-). Approved refunds go back through the gateway you paid with (PayFast or Stitch) back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

Closing your account

Ask support and we will close the account and remove your data, keeping only the records that tax and anti-fraud law require us to keep.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act or the consumer law of your country. Where this policy and the law disagree, the law wins.
